Nist 800 17 Compliance & Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (cmmc)

AES Systems is pleased to offer all clients and contracting partners the same level of cybersecurity required by the US Department of Defense.

AES Systems has provided engineering, fabrication, installation, and system support to the US Department of Defense (DOD) for decades. We are pleased to offer all clients and partners the same level of cybersecurity required by the DOD via our National Institute of Standards and Technology 800-171 (NIST 800-171) compliance and our Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)

NIST 800-171 Compliance

The DOD launched the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) from threat. To be DFARS compliant, contractors and subcontractors must follow NIST 800-171 procedure when storing, transmitting, or processing CUI.

CMMC Certification

In 2019, growing cybersecurity threats prompted the DOD to increase the defense of CUI with the addition of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). The DOD now requires all contractors and subcontractors handling CUI to be NIST 800-171 compliant and CMMC certified.

AES Systems’ commitment to continuous evaluation and improvement of our processes and practices assures the highest standards of cybersecurity for our clients and partners.
